It only weighs 116 grams and the dimensions of it are 62.3mm x 44.9mm.
For reference, a paper clip is 8mm x 33mm, so it’s a little taller than that. This is a fantastic option if you need something small to bring with you to multiple locations.
No need to lug a big camera around with you.
And of course, you can place it atop your helmet or what have you, if you’re trying to score a sweet action shot for your video.
This is an especially great option if your music video ideas include action sequences, sports, etc…

If you want high quality video, the GroPro 7 provides 1080p HD video at up to 240 frames per second.

The cost is about $300, so you’re paying about $70 more for this option.
After reading the details this model has that the other doesn’t, you’ll have to decide if the extra money is worth it. I suspect for many of you, it will be.
It has the same dimensions of 62.3mm x 44.9mm. Again, a paper clip being about 8mm x 33mm, gives you the reference point to understand that this camera isn’t much taller than that!
It weighs 126 grams, just a tad heavier than the GoPro 7.
Not many will notice the increase of 10 grams, so that will likely not affect you.

The GoPro 8 will also grant you 1080p HD video at up to 240 frames per second.
This of course can be used for the excellent 8X slow-motion.
