As noted, this is a wide-angle zoom lens… and a spectacular one at that!
The focal length range of 14-30mm gives you a nice, wide-angle, which is actually tied for the widest you can get together with the first prime lens on my list.
It also gives you flexibility up to 30mm so you don’t have to be so committed to one focal length.
Where it has the advantage with the flexibility, the aperture is not quite as good as the other two wide-angle lenses.
The f/4 aperture is still great and stays consistent throughout the zoom range which is a nice plus.
Look to this wide-angle zoom if you’re interested in landscapes photogarphy but also interested in flexibility.
